Sophie Marceau (French pronunciation: [s?fi ma?so]; born 17 November 1966) is a French actress, who has appeared in 35 films. During her teens Marceau achieved popularity as a French cinema actress in her debut films La Boum (1980) and La Boum 2 (1982). In addition, Sophie Marceau has worked in international films such as Braveheart (1995) and as a Bond Girl in The World Is Not Enough (1999).

Leonor Varela's first job was in 1995, playing Anette in Pony Trek, a children's film. Filming was in Iceland and Leonor Varela was riding horses for three months. Then, referred to a French filmmaker by her dentist, Leonor Varela played in Shooting Stars (1997). Leonor Varela found her popularity on the rise at home when she was cast in the Chilean soap opera Tic Tac.

After appearing in a few more television productions in the late 1990s, Leonor Varela was cast in a small role in The Man in the Iron Mask. In 1999, Leonor Varela played the title character in the TV movie Cleopatra. Leonor Varela fell in love with actor Billy Zane (Mark Antony) on the set, but they split up two years later. Leonor Varela has been married to philanthropist and musician Kevin Duane Taylor of Garland, Texas since April 13, 2008.

Roles in The Tailor of Panama and Texas Rangers (both in 2001) followed shortly thereafter, and as the fanged vampire princess in the action film Blade II. After that came Paraíso B and Pas Si Grave.

Leonor Varela also had a short recurring role in the Fox Television series Arrested Development as the original Marta. Leonor Varela was nominated for the Ariel Award in 2005 in the category of Best Actress for Innocent Voices (2004). Leonor Varela also had a non-recurring role in Stargate: Atlantis.



Leonor Varela's latest projects are Americano, Caleuche: The Call of the Sea, Casas de Cartón and Gigola where she plays feminist Laure Charpentier. Leonor Varela played Jordana in Goal! 2. Jordana was a journalist who had a one-night stand with Santiago Munez (Kuno Becker). Leonor Varela is fluent in Spanish, English and French. She is also a marine life activist who is concerned with the welfare of whales. Leonor Varela is also a vegetarian.

Leeann Tweeden eschewed college altogether and instead pursued a career in modeling. Just two years after leaving her Virginia High school, while working as a hostess at a Hooters restaurant (Leeann Tweeden was in their 1994 calendar) in Colorado Springs, Colorado, she won first place in the Venus International Model Search in 1992. This break led to national exposure. Leeann Tweeden modeled for promotional work for Hooters and Venus International along with Frederick's of Hollywood and Playboy.

Leeann Tweeden will join the Covino and Rich show on Sirius radio 108 (Maxim Radio) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Leeann Tweeden also served as a correspondent for FOX Sports Net's Best Damn Sports Show Period from 2000 to 2007. In 2008, Tweeden became the third hostess of the NBC late night television series Poker After Dark.



As part of Hooters' 25th anniversary in 2008, Leeann Tweeden was named among "The Top Hooters Girls of all time".

In 2009 she became the public face of the website Rethinking Autism which uses a series of videos to educate the public about autism.

Early life

Catherine Jones was born in Swansea, South Wales. Catherine Jones's mother, Patricia (née Fair), was an Irish seamstress, and her father, David "Dai" Jones (b. 1946), was a Welsh sweet factory owner. Catherine Jones name stems from those of her grandmothers — Catherine Jones's maternal grandmother, Catherine Fair, and her paternal grandmother, Zeta Jones (1917 – 14 August 2008).

After Catherine Jones parents won £100,000 at bingo in the 1980s, they moved to St. Andrews Drive in Mayals, an upper-class area of Swansea. Catherine Jones left school early to further her acting ambitions without obtaining O levels and went on to attend The Arts Educational Schools in Chiswick, West London, for a full-time three-year course in musical theatre.


Catherine Jones' stage career began in childhood. Catherine Jones often performed at friend's and family functions when she was younger. Catherine Jones was part of a Catholic congregation's performing troupe before she was 10. Catherine Jones made her professional acting debut when she played the lead in Annie, a production at Swansea Grand Theatre. Catherine Jones also starred in a version of Bugsy Malone as Tallulah. When Catherine Joneswas 14, Mickey Dolenz stopped by the Grand Theatre to audition her for The Pyjama Game. He was so impressed with her performance that she was offered the opportunity to join his show for the rest of the tour. Catherine Jones'S singing and dancing ability suggested a promising future, but it was in a straight acting role, as Mariette in the successful British television adaptation of H. E. Bates' The Darling Buds of May, that brought her to public attention. Catherine Jones'S briefly flirted with a musical career, beginning with a part in the 1992 album: Jeff Wayne's Musical Version Of Spartacus, from which the single "For All Time" was released in 1992. It reached #36 in the UK charts. In 1997, Catherine Jones was cast as the evil aviatrix "Sala" in the action film, The Phantom, based on the comic created by Lee Falk. Her character did her best to kill Billy Zane's Phantom, while assisting villain Xander Drax (Treat Williams) in taking over the world with a weapon of doom. The following year, Catherine Jones starred in the CBS mini-series Titanic, which also starred Tim Curry and Peter Gallagher. Steven Spielberg, who noted her performance in the mini-series, recommended her to Martin Campbell, the director of The Mask of Zorro. Catherine Jones subsequently landed a lead role in the film, alongside fellow Welsh compatriot Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas. Catherine Jones learned dancing, riding, sword-fighting and took part in dialect classes to play her role as Elena. Commenting on her performance, Variety noted, "Catherine Jones is bewitchingly lovely as the center of everyone's attention, and Catherine Jones throws herself into the often physical demands of her role with impressive grace."


In 1999, Catherine Jones co-starred with Sean Connery in the film Entrapment, and alongside Liam Neeson and Lili Taylor in The Haunting.

In 2000, Catherine Jones starred in the critically acclaimed Traffic with future husband Michael Douglas. Traffic earned praise from the press, with the critic for the Dallas Observer calling the movie "a remarkable achievement in filmmaking, a beautiful and brutal work". Catherine Jones performance earned her her first Golden Globe nomination, as Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture.

In 2002, Catherine Jones played Velma Kelly in the film Chicago. Velma Kelly is a glamorous Chicago jazz stage performer who has to do time after killing her sister and her husband. Catherine Jones's performance was praised by the press, among them were the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, which stated, "Catherine Jones makes a wonderfully statuesque and bitchy saloon goddess." won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance. For her role in Chicago, she specifically requested a 1920s-style short bob wig, so her face could be seen and fans would not doubt she did all her dancing herself.



In 2003, she voiced Marina in Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas opposite Brad Pitt, as well as starring in Intolerable Cruelty with George Clooney. In 2004 she was in The Terminal, as well as Ocean's Twelve, the sequel to Ocean's Eleven. In 2005, she reprised her role as Elena in The Legend of Zorro, the sequel to The Mask of Zorro. In 2007, she starred in the romantic comedy No Reservations, a remake of the German film Mostly Martha. She starred in a biopic about legendary magician Harry Houdini: Death Defying Acts, directed by Gillian Armstrong and alongside with Guy Pearce and Saoirse Ronan. Apart from her acting career, Zeta-Jones is also an advertising spokeswoman, currently the global spokeswoman for cosmetics giant Elizabeth Arden. She has appeared in numerous TV commercials for the phone company T-Mobile. She is also the spokeswoman for DiModolo jewelry.
